More Reasons Great Clinicians Choose Great Careers With Us!

Clinicians choose to work for General Medicine, P.C. because of the level of professional support that we offer. We recruit clinicians from a variety of backgrounds, and provide them with the education and mentoring that promotes their success. They achieve great personal satisfaction by being able to make a difference in the lives of their patients and facility staff. Our clinicians establish long-term relationships with their client facilities, where they can practice independently, while benefiting from the best practices of their colleagues.

All of our medical directors and attending physicians have a full-time geriatric, skilled nursing and sub-acute facility based practice. The intensity of services will vary with patient need. This is in contrast to typical physician involvement in an average long-term care facility where patient visits are based on physician convenience and availability. The average physician has a busy office and hospital practice that distracts from his involvement in the nursing home. The majority of physicians practicing in nursing homes meet minimum requirements that are insufficient in today's post-hospital environment. Due to higher acuity in nursing homes today, an increase in physician involvement is essential to properly serve that patient and facility staff.
